First Official Meeting 3/2/12

Hey gamers.
We had a great first meeting, with some great ideas.We had two new officers elected today along with our four existing officers.
For those of you who are unaware our officers are as follows:
President-Naiche, Vice President-Louis, Treasurer-Derek, Secretary-Mike, Sergeant of Arms- George, Researcher-Daniel.
Congratulations to George and Daniel for their new positions.
We also had some great ideas for the future of our club as well.
One of the major discussions was about our gaming tournaments.
There were several possibilities that each of us came up with including fundraisers for the tournaments and whether or not to give all of the proceeds to charity.
The finalizations still need to be worked out.
There was also plans to attend or view upcoming events that are happening in the gaming world, such as the Game Developer's Conference, E3, and places like Comic-con.
Dungeons and Dragons was also a heavy topic that was being discussed about.
It will give us a great chance to evaluate the core aspects of games through a new perspective.
It is a great way to allow us as game designers to focus on what works in a game and how to change it, whether it be the level itself or how the monsters and quests function.
There will also be many opportunities for us to go out and visit many different game developers and see how they work.
Derek has announced that he has connections to someone who works for idle minds and would be willing to see if we can get a peek inside the studio.
There will also be times that we can try and set up booths at school events to get our club out into the open.
Finally, there will be several opportunities for contests to change the look of the Blogspot, Twitter, and Facebook pages.
