Hey Gamers,
This is a bit late but bear with me.
Our Last Meeting was a huge success and a major blast.
Those of you that were there voted on what kind of tournament we wanted to have for next quarter and it seems that a majority of you wanted to try your luck at a fighting game and so your request will be received.
Also, our Treasurer, Derek, mentioned that there was a possibility of us gamers to take an official tour of the Idle Minds game studio.
It was also mentioned that if anyone was interested in created a large building, that the Denver Siggraph chapter is constructing a full scale city in 3D that will be available to all students over the network drive.
There will also be a booth set up tomorrow for all of the school's clubs.
So come on by and say hello to us and get to know the other clubs at our school.
Finally, all of us sat down and played some much needed table top games.
We sat down in two groups of ten and battled it out in a game of good vs. evil.
We each had a victor from both the good and the evil side.
Afterwards we all discussed the importance of table top games and their relevance in how they allow us as game designers to evaluate the core concepts in a game and give us a chance to break it down and change any thing we don't see fit.
And for those of you that stayed after the meeting, we had a wonderful time with role playing in an actual D&D encounter.
